Department resources
Spaces and technical facilities that support teaching, practical work, and research.
Since 1996
Education, research, and community outreach in Computer Science and Statistics.
Teaching
The department operates networked computer laboratories for undergraduate and postgraduate practical classes. Laboratory software is selected to support coursework across introductory and advanced study, while shared accounts and storage help students work consistently across facilities.
Research
Dedicated laboratory spaces support hardware work, Internet of Things activities, and research in Computer Science and Statistics. Students use these facilities for supervised practical and research work.
Infrastructure
Department infrastructure supports authentication, file services, web and teaching systems. Wireless access is available to staff and students in department spaces, subject to University access policies and available capacity.
For learning-platform access, continue to e-learning.
Data-intensive work
Data Science facilities support practical teaching and research that require modern statistical computing, data analysis, and computational methods. Availability and access arrangements are coordinated by the department.
